Using the ‘I can, you can, we can’ approach to learning we help you to explore the concept of children’s rights and how they are observed within your practice. We focus on raising children’s self esteem and confidence. The course helps you to encourage children to participate and make choices, underpinning the ‘Every Child Matters Report’ and Article 12 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child 1989.
Fun craft making sessions help participants to investigate the value of the creative process rather than the end product and provide opportunities to discuss ways of encouraging children to engage and develop their own creativity.
Participants are given practical guidance on how to evidence their own creative practice.
